The "green" photo is about where the Continental Divide would be. We crossed at the low part - the highest peak nearby was at 9,000.
From the air the Petrified Forest was not stunning. It looks like a bunch of dark large objects laying around. Pretty patterns. The entertaining part was Rick breaking into song with "Take It Easy" by Jackson Browne since he spotted on the plane's flight map Winslow, Arizona coming up ahead of us.
